How FiscTalk is funded today

FiscTalk is a free, reader-supported site. At the time of writing it is funded solely by Google AdSense display advertising. We do not currently use affiliate links, we do not sell leads to tax preparers, and we do not accept sponsored conclusions. This matches the statement on our About page.

What "affiliate links" would mean

An affiliate link is a special URL that identifies FiscTalk as the referrer. If we ever joined an affiliate program (for example, a tax-software company) and you clicked one of those links and then signed up or made a purchase, we might earn a commission — at no extra cost to you. Compensation like this is common across the web and never changes the price you pay.

Our commitment if we add affiliate links

Advertising (AdSense)

Google AdSense places ads on the site and may use cookies to show ads based on your interests. Ad targeting is controlled by Google, not by us, and our content is not written to serve advertisers. You can manage ad personalization through Google's Ad Settings and through your browser or device controls. See our Privacy Policy for more.
